More and more remodeling industry pros are adopting software, apps, and other technologies to help their clients visualize their remodeling project. The industry is exploding into new realms with the technology of today including gadgets that have lent a whole new perspective to the design and building process. Come join this chapter meeting and witness 2 presentations from our member professionals, Joan Slaughterbeck of Slaughterbeck Floors Inc. and Patty Hayos of Signature Kitchen & Bath Design, who will show different manufacturer tools available to help clients visualize their new space. Specifically, Joan will present new technology to help contractors know when subfloors are ready for hardwood installation and how they can monitor the conditions--- even after the floor has been installed----from their office, no more trips out to the job!!

NARI Silicon Valley continues to connect to our community! We are having our 2nd annual canned food donation drive. You are welcome to drop off your items at Slaughterbeck Floors from July 15-July 19 or bring with you to the July 17 chapter meeting. We hope you are able to participate. Help us reach our 100 lbs goal! See our chapter team page here to see our progress on reaching this goal.

Second Harvest Food Bank is leading local efforts to ensure that any child who needs a healthy meal can get one. With our help, they’ll distribute more nutritious food, help more families eat healthier and connect more kids and families to the nutritious meals they need at school and during the summer.

Thank you for helping kids realize their full potential and pursue their dreams!

Here is what they can and cannot donate:
Canned tuna, chicken or salmon

Peanut butter
Meals in a can (soup, stew, chili)
Low-sodium canned vegetables
Canned fruit in its own juice or water
Olive or canola oil
Spices (cinnamon, chili powder, cumin, salt-free spice blends)
Canned foods with pop-top lids
Low-sugar whole grain cereals
Healthy snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)

Please do not donate:
Sugary foods or beverages like soda, candy or donuts
Avoid donating items packaged in glass

Cancellation/Refund Policy: You may cancel up to 24 hours before the meeting begins and request to receive a full refund or have credit applied for a future meeting (except Meta Gala) in the same year. No shows or same-day cancellations will not receive a refund.

Prospective Members/Returning Guests Policy: Prospective guests will be allowed to attend their first 2 chapter meetings at no charge (this is limited to 2 people from the non-member company). After their 3rd chapter meeting, prospective members need to pay the current non-member rate before deciding to join. After their third meeting, if prospective members have not joined, their name(s) will be removed from the meetings e-mail list.
