5 STEPS TO THE BEST MEMBERSHIP EXPERIENCE

How to Join

Joining is easy. Simply submit your application and membership dues (more about the types of memberships offered and fees associated with them below).
Applications typically take a few weeks to process. We’ll notify you once approved.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for membership, you must:

- Be in business at least 1 year*
- Carry General or Professional Liability Insurance
- Carry Workers’ Compensation if you have employees
- Hold a valid CA Contractor License (contractors only)
- Pass a credit check & reference review

*Businesses under 1 year may apply as Provisional Members (see below).

🔵 Regular / Primary Member

Application Fee (non-refundable): $100
Annual Dues: $575

🟢 Provisional Member (new businesses under 1 year)

Provisional Members complete the same application, verification, and approval process as Regular Members.

While holding Provisional Membership, companies may participate in chapter meetings, educational programs, networking opportunities, and other eligible chapter activities. However, Provisional Members:

Do not have voting privileges
May not use NARI marketing materials, including NARI member logos
Are not listed in the local or national public membership directories
May not participate in NARI award programs

Once the company reaches its one-year anniversary in business and continues to meet all membership requirements, its membership will transition to full Regular Membership. At that time, the company will receive full member privileges and will be added as a searchable member to the NARI Silicon Valley website and NARI.org.

🟣 Regional Member

For active Primary Members of NARI Silicon Valley, NARI San Francisco Bay Area, NARI Diablo Valley, or NARI Greater Sacramento.

Regional Membership is available to companies that maintain a Primary Membership with another participating Northern California NARI chapter under the same business name and business address. Regional Members enjoy the benefits of membership within multiple participating chapters while maintaining a single Primary Membership.
