M. Designs Architects  | The ADU vision centered on crafting a tranquil abode for the clients' aging parents. Nestled in the backyard, the primary goal was to create a seamless indoor/outdoor living experience, allowing the backyard to be fully embraced amidst the lush California native shrubbery. This home allows grandparents to stay connected with the main house, especially enjoying moments with their grandkids by the pool. Sliding glass doors seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor spaces. The open living and kitchen area, with hardwood accents reflecting nature, maintains a sense of familiarity, providing a comfortable and cherished environment reminiscent of their former home.
